Your Investment in the Next Generation of Leaders

Humanics@FresnoState believes in the POWER OF RELATIONSHIPS, and our program is rooted in a relational culture that helps people discover their philanthropic passion, provides them with applied skills training and knowledge, and connects them to each other and to organizations making a difference in the Valley.

Today, approximately 70 students are actively seeking Humanics Certification. Since 2001, more than 200 students (representing 23 different majors) have graduated from California State University, Fresno with Humanics Certification in Administration and Leadership for Community Benefit Organizations and approximately 70% of them are employed in the community benefit sector (with 70% of them employed locally).

Your investment in the next generation of leaders enables our Humanics Program to provide:

  • scholarships to students to attend an annual professional development conference;
  • grants to CBOs serving our Valley (Students4Giving Philanthropy Project); and
  • project-based learning opportunities for students to get a R.E.A.L.® experience.

R.E.A.L.®: Relational, Experiential, Applicable, and Learner-Centered (R.E.A.L.® is a registered trademark of Group Publishing, Loveland, Colorado-used by permission).
